You dont get much for $.99
Was looking for an app that would allow interaction with the hands of the clock so my little one could see the way the hour changes when 60 minutes has passed. Unfortunately, the app did not accomplish this as the minute and hour hands function independent of one another. The reason I gave only 1 star: during the "practice" and "quiz" functions, the app only uses oclock (:00). Yes, you heard correctly: the remaining 59 minutes in the hour are completely absent. I even took several quizzes to see if the difficulty would progress as quizzes were completed successfully - it did not. Each new quiz reiterates the exact same material as the prior quiz. Your child will play this app once and never touch it again. The graphics are very well done. The tiered reward system is well done. The content needs to be significantly more robust.
Great app and it does minutes
This app works great and unlike other reviews have said it does do minute increments. It has a large array of settings for difficulty from whole hours to minutes from clocks with the minutes displayed to ones with just dots. It can even be set to automatically increase difficulty as the child gets better. My only "complaint" is I cant figure out how to get new puzzle rewards which were a great motivator when my kids starting practicing time telling with the app. More puzzles and this app is perfect.
